I am a self taught Indigenous artist who has an interest in design. I would describe my art as unique contemporary designs.
My Aboriginal artwork is mainly themed around Australian native fauna fused with Celtic styles to create my own unique flair.
The main idea behind my artwork is to create some designs that could be incorporated onto fabrics or other interior design products.
In the past I have exhibited my artwork at Tandanya Aboriginal Cultural Institute, Adelaide Fringe Festival and local council offices. Through this I have won awards for my art that have aided my artistic journey.
I currently work at a school site as an Aboriginal Community Education Officer. When opportunities arise I love to share my knowledge of art with teachers and students. I have recently been involved with the Playford Council and the Council for Stolen Generations on a pathways project for the Stolen Generation Healing Garden located next to Stebonheath Park at Smithfield Plains South Australia.
I am looking forward to being involved with IndigiSpace and the opportunity to showcase my artwork and help me get my creative juices flowing again.
